MiR at World Entrepreneur of The Year
From June 6-9 MiR has represented Denmark in Monaco for World Entrepreneur of the Year
MiR did not become the first Danish winner of the world championship in entrepreneurship and innovation in the EY competition, but CEO Thomas Visti and CSO Niels Jul Jacobsen return from Monaco with pride after some interesting days where MiR has had a lot of international attention.
After three days of intense and festive build-up with press interviews, preparations and a 20-minute "exam" in front of the international EY jury, the WEOY competition ended Saturyday evening with American Brad Keywell from the company Uptake Technologies as the winner.
"We have a winning mentality, and of course we are a bit disappointed, because we believed that we could win. But, we also competed against huge companies. The 47 companies involved in WEOY have a total of 173,000 employees and the winner's company, which is his 7th of the kind, is valued at $ 2 billion. So, in the big picture, MiR does not take up much space, and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved and our participation here in Monaco," said Thomas Visti.
